Methylmalonic Acid (MMA)
Elevated levels of Methylmalonic acid (MMA) are an indication of vitamin B12 deficiency. redhot has developed a new method for determination of methylmalonic acid that circumvents the problem with background from MMA in blank blood, using the HILIC separation technique. It is a very robust and sensitive method. The LC-MS/MS application is intended for the quantitative determination of Methylmalonic acid (MMA) in serum/plasma (whole blood), and is available as a prototype.
